Iconic Santorini scenery: set against pristinely-white walls, a blue door starkly echoes the colours of sea and sky. Potted red geraniums inject bright accents into the white-blue palette of the greek island. Soft shadows are imbued with all these colours, thanks to blistering greek sunlight. The door beckons one to enter and chill during a hot summer afternoon. The painting was done using oil paint with a palette knife.
