Every summer I make sure to at least once venture into the country, in order to pick lots of sunflowers. Assembled into magnificent bouquets, they later adorn my home in various vases, providing me with an opportunity to try and reflect their beauty on canvas. Their vivid colours and diverse shapes never cease to captivate me. A sunflower is truly an embodiment of the Sun, in more than one way; their splendor, even through the medium of a painting, is an energizing sight that warms up our dwellings all year round.
